VTG 1978-91 Dobruš Belarus Porcelain PLATTER All The Flags Antonina Semyonova

For your consideration is this beautiful platter produced by Dobruš Porcelain Factory of Dobrush, Belarus. According to infofaience online data repository, the mark was used by the company from 1978 until 1991. The scene on the platter is of several galleon ships in a harbor, a painting titled "All The Flags Are Visiting Us" by master painted Antonina Semyonova. That scene appears to be a transfer with hand painted water and air strokes added. The piece measures 12 inches in diameter by 0.8 inches high, and in the center is a slight depression. There is a brown luster band along the raised edge of the platter. Positioned on the top of the back is a single hole allowing the platter to be hung and displayed. Upon closer inspection, there is some chipping around this hole (please view photos).
